The Education Committee - In conjunction with Appraiser eLearning, the primary responsibilities include developing curriculum for NAA’s Certification’s, writing and revising test questions, evaluating and improving the assessment process, working with the professional staff in overseeing the administration of the program and recommending needed changes in prerequisite and recertification requirements, subject to the approval of the Board of Directors. Additionally, the Education Committee hears appeals made by candidates involving exam content and administration or the Association’s interpretation of eligibility, renewal, or credential revocation standards or determinations and recommending the passing score to the Association for approval.
Committee also focuses on sourcing and coordinating educational programs, selects the topics and speakers for periodic seminars and workshops. This committee also works with the Membership committee on program design, collecting feedback on our offerings, and ideas for new programs.
