Committees are the core of the National Association of Appraisers (NAA), where our essential, value-added activities occur. They provide members the opportunity to contribute significantly to the appraisal industry and to network with peers. The vitality of the NAA relies on the effective and efficient functioning of these committees.

Committee Duties:

Professional Standards Advisory Committee serves to create forums where members can examine the ethics of their actions; stimulate the expression of appropriate behaviors for appraisers. Reviews NAA’s Code of Professional Conduct to identify and recommend appropriate revisions. The committee will work in collaboration with other committees including Governmental Affairs, Bylaws and Communications to review and create forums where members can examine the ethics of their actions.
