Welcome to the Appraisers Conference and Trade Show (ACTS) Website.
In 2009, 5 individual appraisers, including Mike Brunson and Bobby Crisp (founding members of their respective state associations) met in Las Vegas and discussed the fact that so many appraisers belonged to no professional organization and yet at the same time recognized the uprising of grass roots organizations at the state level. Out of those conversations, the NAA was born and it was designed to represent all appraisers and specifically those with their boots on the ground and to serve as an umbrella organization for those state associations looking for national representation.
In 2011, the NAA was invited to co-host the Appraisal Summit and Expo and has served in that capacity since. The conference served two goals; the first of which was a location for the NAA's annual meetings and the second was a the opportunity to reach our membership.
After several years of planning, the NAA Board of Directors voted to create a conference both for appraiser's and by appraiser's called ACTS. The location of ACTS would not be in a fixed location, rather it would alternate between the east and west coast typically in a state where an NAA Board of Governor resides.
We believe this provides the greatest opportunity to reach our membership, support our state associations, and to unite as one.
ACTS will host the NAA's State Appraisal Organization's Leadership Forum and Membership Meeting. Additionally, appraisers will be exposed to current and meaningful continuing education that applies directly to the advancement of their professional development.
Don't miss this opportunity to join and network with your peers in the region and across the country at ACTS. We at Appraiser eLearning like to be different. Our mission is simple: we’re here to put a new spin on Appraiser training and continuing education. We aim to make it enjoyable and interesting by integrating the latest technology and multimedia into our courses. It’s our understanding that, by creating and delivering products we believe in, we are able to fill a long-standing void in the appraisal training industry. Specifically, we are here to NOT be boring.
As professional appraisers and appraisal instructors, we are well aware that CE for appraisers can be painful and dull. Our courses are not the traditional click-through-to-your-certificate offerings you might be used to. We seek out the best instructors in the business, produce content with them, and deliver a finished product that you can take online, from the comfort of your own home. Come check out what we are doing that sets us apart.
